A Woman Noticed Littering Drivers And Decided to Teach Them an Unforgettable Lesson!!!

Littering is a big problem everywhere. Some countries charge fees for littering, other don’t do much about it. In Russia this female motorcyclist is tired of witnessing people turning her city into a dumpster without being punished. One day she got fed up. She was enjoying her ride through the city, but kept noticing people throwing trash out of their cars. She decided to teach litterers a lesson. Now people call her The Elusive Avenger. This video is quite controversial. The viewers dived into two groups: those that support her, and those that find it inappropriate. Let’s just see it as a motivational social ad, and watch our own actions. It is also important to be an active bystander, not so extreme, of course. Share this video and your opinion.

It is disgusting when people are so self-centered and ignorant. They drive expensive cars, that they keep clean, but find it ok to just throw their trash out of the window. Being familiar with Russians’ mentality, I don’t find the girl’s lesson atrocious. She says she wants to live in a clean city and no litterer will go unpunished. Most people are unaware of littering fines. In the United States the fine for littering is more than $500, community service, or both. Most highways and national parks are punishable with $1,000 fine or 1 year in prison if serious damages occurred. In some areas, the penalties for highway littering can be up to $10,000. Litter is very expensive. Clean communities have a better chance of attracting new business, residents and tourists. Also a lot of fires start because of dropped or dumped litter causing damage worth millions of dollars every year. Litter hurts people and animals. Every year there are numerous vehicle accidents caused by litter. Litter harms water quality, farming, it attracts scavengers, such as rats, raccoons, that carry rabies and numerous diseases.
Litter is a problem that can be controlled. Education is the most important tool. People who are aware of the dangers of litter are more likely to spread the word and follow the litter-free rules.
