These retirees were having a typical day, but then they heard “Happy”. What happened next is SO UPLIFTING!!!

This video is the most cheerful, uplifting I’ve seen this week. It was a a typical day at the Diana Isaac Retirement Village Christchurch, New Zealand, but everything changed when they heard the song “Happy” by Pharrell Williams. Sixty residents of the village and staff members created this awesome video to show that their soul is still young and they keep enjoying life and having fun. Who wouldn’t, living in such great resort-style facilities?! Try to notice their outfits-so cool and modern. I love when people just cut loose and enjoy themselves, let their inner child come out and play. Let this video be an example to all of us. Let’s have fun and cherish every moment, because life is so short. Enjoy and share this uplifting moment with friends.

Now let’s say, this facility is really awesome: heated indoor swimming pool and spa, gymnasium, beauty and hairdressing salon, library and internet services, dining room, bar, lounges, shop, and even a movie theatre?! When can i move in? Pharrell’s song “Happy” became a sensation all around the world. This song became the fourth single to reach triple platinum status in almost two decades. It featured in the hit animation movie Despicable Me 2. The song also topped the charts of 22 other countries. People all over the globe have been recreating the video to “Happy”. As of May 2014, more than 1,500 videos had been created. A French couple even launched a website to showcase these re-makes. One more crazy thing about this song- 24-hour music video for “Happy” was created and projected at the Buenos Aires International Festival of Independent Cinema in April 2014. The weirdest thing about the song is that you don’t get tired of it. It is so positive, when you hear it, you simply cannot resist a smile.
